Sessions
My private practice takes place every weekday (Monday to Friday) and on weekends.
My practice is open during holidays except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day/Hogmanay.
Therapy sessions are typically on a weekly basis. My therapy session is 50-60 minutes
They can be either face-to-face at my consulting room in Edinburgh, or online via Skype / Teams / WhatsApp video, or over the phone.
 
 
 
 



Fees
£150 full fee
£95 student
£80 clinical supervision for professionals and £75 for trainees/students
Initial appt/mental health assessment £280
£300 for gender incongruence assessment
£280 for standalone mental health assessments
24 hours notice is required for cancellation without being charged the full hourly fee, including the first session


Health Insurance
I am registered with major health insurance companies, if you’d like to pay through your private medical insurance:
* Axa PPP
* Aviva
* Cigna
If your insurance is not included in the list above, I will be able and willing to register with your insurer.
Please note: if your insurance company is paying then I will need your insurance details and authorisation number before our first session, otherwise I will have to ask you to pay for the session(s).

Supervision for Psychologists, Psychotherapists & Counsellors
I do offer supervision to Psychology and Psychotherapy/Counselling colleagues. I have experience in supervising both fully qualified psychologists and therapists, as well as
trainees and psychology students. I specialise in supervising and mentoring trainees.
I offer face-to-face or online supervision at £75.00 per 50-60 minute session. If you are a trainee and your placement subsidises your supervision, I am happy to work out a plan with you.
